1. Relationship of the Parties
You ("Thriver") are engaged by Thriving Seniors Co. ("Company") as an independent contractor, not an employee. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer-employee, partnership, or joint-venture relationship.
2. Services
Thriver agrees to provide non-medical companion and visit services to senior clients as accepted through the Thriving Seniors Co. platform. Thriver controls the manner and means by which services are performed, subject to Company quality standards and client requirements.
3. Compensation
Thriver will be compensated at the rate of $17 per hour for completed, verified visits. Payouts are issued on the Company's standard payout schedule. As an independent contractor, Thriver is responsible for all applicable taxes.
4. Background & Driving Checks
Thriver consents to a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check as a condition of acceptance and ongoing engagement.
5. Confidentiality
Thriver will keep all client information strictly confidential and will not disclose, share, or use it outside of providing services through the platform.
6. Conduct & Safety
Thriver will treat clients with dignity and respect, follow visit safety guidelines, and report any incidents to Company promptly. Thriver will not provide medical care, administer medication, or perform tasks outside the scope of companion services.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause. Company may immediately suspend Thriver's account for safety, compliance, or quality concerns.
8. Acknowledgement
By checking the agreement box during signup, Thriver acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Independent Contractor Agreement.
